Loan Operations Coordinator

Ultimate Staffing is partnering with a respected financial institution to identify a Loan Operations Coordinator for a 6-month contract opportunity with potential for long-term employment based on performance and business needs.

Location: Onsite

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Pay Rate: $23.00/hour

Assignment Type: Contract-to-Hire Potential

Position Overview

The Loan Operations Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the lending process by ensuring loan files are accurate, complete, and processed efficiently. This individual will interact with members, applicants, and internal teams while maintaining high standards of service and documentation throughout the loan lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and operational support to the lending team.
  • Review, enter, and update loan-related information within internal systems.
  • Prepare, scan, index, and maintain electronic loan records
  • Make high outbound calls to applicants and customers regarding loan-related items
  • Contact applicants to obtain outstanding documentation and provide status updates on loan requests.
  • Respond to inbound calls and email inquiries regarding loan processing and account-related questions.
  • Monitor loan files to ensure all required documents are received and organized.
  • Assist other departments as needed to maintain a positive member and customer experience.
  • Support workflow efficiency by handling multiple loan files and requests simultaneously.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience within a bank, credit union, or financial services environment is required.
  • Experience communicating with customers via phone by calling regarding loan documentation, file completion, and application follow-up.
  • Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and financial software systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
